Here we have the finished plaster negative
The negative molds are created by brushing plaster onto the oil base clay sculpture and
laminating burlap with the plaster to achieve a thickness of about 3/4".
The molds are in two pieces to facilitate the removal of the clay and finished silicone.
A third mold piece is used (not shown) as an inner core,
this determines the thickness of the silicone before pouring.
